Sending Mass Emails to Groups in Considered Sales CRM

February 7th, 2007

CRM GroupsNew feature alert: You can send mass emails to groups from within Considered Sales CRM. Lets get right to it…

In the Work Window, click on the new Groups Tab on the left side of the screen. In this new tab you will see that you now have the ability to create Groups. Click ‘Add Group’, name your new Group, and begin clicking your Contacts. As you click on your Contacts, they move from the top list to the bottom, indicating that they are now part of the Group.

You can also sort by another Group (previously made) to reduce your options, or choose to add an entire previous Group to your new Group.

Once made, you can View your new Group and work from the restricted list. You also have the option to modify your Group (add or delete members) or delete the entire Group all together. You can also choose to send a mass email to a selection of individuals, a Group, or a selection of Groups and/or individuals.

Mass email from your CRM application can be an effective way to communicate specials, opportunities, and calls-to-action to specific segments of your Contact list.

To send a mass email to your list, select the ‘Mass Mass Email’ link from the top of the Groups Tab. The right part of the screen will change into the Email Manager Window. In this window you can create a new email, format the email, save it as a draft, or continue on to Add Recipients.

Adding recipients is similar to creating Groups, and allows you to choose from a list of individuals, Groups, or both.

Don’t worry about adding duplicates; we’ll take those out for you after you click Send Email.

A History Note will appear in each recipient’s account showing that they were sent the specific email at the specific time. Give it a try, and have a good time.

Click to Contact: Skype Integration Note

January 31st, 2007

SkypeAs you may be aware, Considered Sales CRM included Skype integration for easy access to your contacts. All you have to do it click the phone icon next to your Contact’s number, and your Skype application will launch and initiate the call. Most calls made with Skype are dirt cheap; calls to other Skype users are free. Awesome!

I wanted to give you a quick update on Skype: Today Skype officially launched 2.5 for Mac. The comparable PC version has been available for a while. Both are impressive, useful, and full of features.
Advanced features included in the new version of Skype include 10-way calling (thats ‘conference calling’ to you salespeople), and SMS messaging (send a text message to any viable phone). Perhaps most exciting is the integration of video, too. Now Skype users can up the ante with video conferencing; free.

If you haven’t jumped into Skype yet, you better get going. At any one time there are over 8 million users online, and the number climbs every day. You too can be using Skype to make free, or almost free, calls directly from your Considered Sales CRM application with the click of a button.

You can download Skype here.

Considered Sales CRM Page Rank Up: Thanks Everyone!

January 26th, 2007

Considered Sales CRM Page Rank 2I wanted to blog a quick post today to announce that we have been ranked by Google at a page rank of ‘two’.

This is quite a milestone for a CRM company who only recently launched, and has yet to begin the lion’s share of our online marketing effort. A page rank of ‘two’ can come at several year’s expense for many companies, and is quite an achievement for us at this early stage.

I wanted to take a moment to thank our team for the great work done in getting our CRM application off the ground and into the spotlight. It appears that Google, the other search engines, and a lot of people from all over the planet have taken notice of our online CRM application and are giving us some consideration of their own.

I also owe a great bit THANK YOU to our early adopters and customers willing to work with us through the early stages of our development. We could not have come this far, or built a hosted CRM solution so completely, without honest customer feedback, expert advice, terrific referrals, and great word of mouth.

Thank you, everyone; Great Work!

Group Contacts in Considered Sales CRM

January 26th, 2007

Create groups in Considered Sales CRMHaving recently upgraded a number of features, we now provide the ability to create Contact Groups.

Groups are created by selecting individuals from your Contact list, or by selecting other groups. Once created, you can view from your groups and work on only the Contacts for a particular segment of your contact base.

Groups are accessed from the new Groups Tab on the left side of the application. To create a new Group, select the Groups Tab and choose to Add New from the links at the top of the window.

The Add New link will open up the Group Creator window, where you can name your new group, and then select names from the top portion of the window to include in the group. As you select names, they will move to the lower part of the window, indicating that your Contact is now part of the new group.

You can filter your selection list by selecting a previous Group from the dropdown menu. You can select individuals from a group, or you can choose to add the entire group with a single click.

Using Groups can be very powerful. You can view a Group of Contacts and work from within that view, effectively restricting your list to only the names you want to work with. You can also use Groups to send mass emails. Watch for more on this feature in our next CRM blog.

Share and Share Alike; Sharing Your CRM Contacts

January 22nd, 2007

sharing.jpgSharing contacts in an online CRM application can save time, increase efficiency, and reduce customer mishaps.

Considered Sales CRM includes a feature that allows you to share your CRM Contacts with anyone on your team. Using the Sharing link, found in the Edit window, you can select one or more salesreps from your group, or everybody, to share the Contact with.

Once shared, Contacts appear in the other salesrep’s accounts as it they actually belonged to them.

Shared Contacts can be scheduled by anyone in the sharing group. Notes, updates, and history tracking are all shared and visible among the shared group. Anyone who makes contact can see the previous history and therefore has a frame of reference for the next call.

This means you will never have to hear a customer say ‘…don’t you guys talk to each other?’ ever again.

sharingicons.jpgKnowing who is shared in your list can be a matter of importance, too. For Contacts that you are sharing to others, Considered Sales provides a ‘broadcast’ icon in the row with the Contact’s name. This indicates that you have ‘ownership’ of the Contact record, and can manage who has access.

For Contacts that are being shared to you by other team members, you will see a ‘link’ icon. The link icon indicates that you have access to the Contact record, can make changes, additions and updates, but cannot manage who has access.

Finally, Considered Sales CRM online allows you to remove Contact’s who are being shared to you from your list. You may want to do this if you have no intention of working with the Contact, and want to clear them from your list. So long as the Contact is being shared to you, you still have the option to add the Contact back to your list at any time.

So, share and share alike. Get into Considered Sales CRM online and start sharing your Contacts with other team members. No more duplicate records, no more confused customers, and lots more productivity.

Multi-Purpose CRM

January 14th, 2007

Multi purpose CRMConsidered Sales CRM Free, our free application, can be used for a multitude of purposes. We have recently received a lot of inquiries regarding the use of CRM and how an application such as Considered Sales can be used. Here are a couple good ideas:

Of course, at the very heart of CRM is the need to track customer progress and record sales history and historical notes. Considered Sales CRM Free is built around these specific functions, and does them well.

Individuals selling MLM products such as Noni Juice, Xango, or Sibu can use Considered Sales CRM Free to better organize customers and downlines. Upgrading to the full Considered Sales CRM application will only improve your ability to work in an MLM environment because you can then include members of your sales team and downline, share leads and track group progress.

More on multi-level marketing with Considered Sales CRM later. Watch this space….

A less orthodox use of our free online CRM application is to track the progress of people in a specific group that may not necessarily be related to sales. Tracking students in a class, for instance, can be made easy and successful in Considered Sales CRM Free. All you need to do is record the names of your students (club members, Boy Scouts, athletes, etc.) as contacts, and then build out your sales process with the milestones you need to track. Milestones can be assignments, merit badges, daily exercise, or anything that you need to track and record.

There are many uses for online CRM applications. The fact that you can get into your own online CRM application free with Considered Sales makes is all the more worthwhile to try.
